🔮 Symbolic Approach
The creation that escapes its creator. In the Hebrew tradition, the Golem is a being of clay animated by the sacred word 'EMET' (truth). It represents the responsibility of creating and the danger of giving life to what one can no longer control.
🛋️ Psychoanalysis (Freud & Jung)
Projection and the monstrosity of creation. The Golem embodies something you have created (a relationship, a situation, a reputation) that has escaped you and now acts autonomously and uncontrollably, potentially against you.
🧠 Neuroscience
The brain uses the image of the Golem to represent automatic behaviors (habits, addictions, repetitive patterns) that you have 'programmed' yourself and that now function without your conscious control, sometimes to your detriment.
💡 Practical Advice
Take the measure of what you have created. If your Golem is out of control, it is up to you to find how to erase the word that animates it. Assume responsibility for your creations.
